Our Mission

The mission of The Cannabis Doula is to support women and families who choose to consume cannabis

by providing woman and family-centered cannabis education, support and certified cannabis caregiver services, in addition to holistic doula services and childbirth education.

We are here to educate our communities and support families in consuming cannabis as medicine,

especially families who have been negatively impacted by the War on Drugs and Cannabis Prohibition.

We advocate for safe cannabis consumption, harm reduction, safe access, and equity in cannabis for women and families.

Whether you’re here looking for relief from menstrual cramps

PMS, morning sickness,

or menopause,

hoping to use cannabis to treat your child,

or simply seeking recommendations for cannabis products, cannabis infusions, or recipes

to help treat a serious sickness or imbalance,
I am happy to support you in your healing!

Serving families in Washington, DC & Maryland, and virtually across the U.S., Canada, and abroad.

Cannabis & Birthwork

Many women and birthing people consume cannabis with very little education and support. In fact, cannabis is the most consumed “illicit drug" by pregnant women, according to The World Health Organization and ACOG, the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As more and more pregnant women are openly praising the healing properties of cannabis for common pregnancy/postpartum concerns, even pain in childbirth, and more research is being done to support the use of cannabis during pregnancy, we must recognize cannabis as a potential alternative to many dangerous interventions and pharmaceuticals during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, and how safe, healthy cannabis consumption can benefit families, with little to no side effects.

. Cannabis, consumed in various methods, can address many of the health concerns that women have throughout our lifetimes including nausea during pregnancy, pain during birth, postpartum hemorrhage and depression, painful periods, pain during sex, vaginal dryness, symptoms related to PCOS, Endometriosis, Breast Cancer, Fibromyalgia, and more. To learn more, book a Cannabis Doula Care Consultation, and consult with your care provider before incorporating herbal medicine into your routine.
